Vulnerability in Tapo C220 and C520WS Cameras by TP-Link
CVE-2026-0918

7.1HIGH

What is CVE-2026-0918?

The Tapo C220 v1 and C520WS v2 cameras have a vulnerability in their HTTP service that fails to handle POST requests with excessively large Content-Length headers. This failure results in memory allocation issues, causing a NULL pointer dereference and leading the main service process to crash. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability without authentication by sending numerous requests, leading to a temporary denial of service as the device repeatedly crashes and restarts, making it unavailable for legitimate users.
