Denial of Service Vulnerability in Tapo Cameras by TP-Link
CVE-2026-0919

7.1HIGH

What is CVE-2026-0919?

The HTTP parser in Tapo C220 v1 and C520WS v2 cameras has a flaw that mishandles requests with excessively long URL paths. When an invalid URL is processed, the cleanup code incorrectly assumes that allocated buffers are still valid, which results in a crash and subsequent device restart. This creates a vulnerability where an unauthenticated adversary can trigger repeated service interruptions or reboots, leading to a denial of service scenario.
