What is CVE-2026-0949?

PEM versions earlier than 9.8.1 are exposed to a stored Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This issue enables users with access to the Manage Charts menu to inject arbitrary JavaScript when creating new charts. Any user who accesses these charts may have the malicious script executed in their browser. Access to the Manage Charts feature is primarily restricted to superusers and users with pem_admin or pem_super_admin roles, making it crucial for these individuals to be aware of the potential risks involved in using affected versions.
