What is CVE-2026-0965?

A vulnerability exists in libssh due to improper handling of configuration parsing, allowing a local attacker to open arbitrary files. This may occur via a maliciously crafted configuration file or if the system is improperly configured. Exploiting this flaw can lead to Denial of Service (DoS) by attempting to access sensitive or unnecessary files, potentially resulting in system disruption and loss of normal operational capabilities.
