What is CVE-2026-0993?

The SODOLA SL902-SWTGW124AS firmware prior to version 200.2.12 is susceptible to a buffer overflow vulnerability. This flaw enables unauthenticated attackers to compromise the device remotely by sending a malicious POST request with an oversized boundary value in the Content-Type header. Exploiting this vulnerability can lead to a denial of service, as the embedded HTTP server fails to handle multipart/form-data requests correctly. Consequently, the device may become unresponsive, losing management access and disrupting traffic during its self-recovery process.

Affected Version(s)

SL902-SWTGW124AS 0 <= 200.2.12

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
