What is CVE-2026-100172?

The AIL Framework has a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting templates that render Bootstrap popovers. This issue arises because dynamic values related to matched, tracked, or tagged content are integrated directly into HTML without proper encoding. As such, if an authenticated attacker manipulates these values, they can inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript. This malicious content could execute in a victim's browser when they view the affected popover, posing a serious security risk as it may lead to unauthorized data access or actions performed on behalf of the user.
