What is CVE-2026-100630?

AVideo is susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability due to insufficient sanitization of the video trailer1 field. Attackers with video upload permissions can embed HTML entity-encoded payloads that circumvent the isValidURL() validation. When rendered, these payloads can escape the confines of the inline JavaScript string, leading to the execution of arbitrary code within the session of any visitor, including those with administrative privileges. This vulnerability poses significant security risks for users and administrators alike.
