What is CVE-2026-100677?

Stoatchat prior to version 0.15.5 contains an account enumeration vulnerability in its login endpoint. This security flaw enables unauthenticated attackers to infer the existence of registered email addresses by analyzing error responses, which disclose source file locations. By sending requests to the login API, attackers can distinguish registered emails from unregistered ones based on the error location fields provided in the responses, potentially leading to further targeted attacks.
