What is CVE-2026-101084?

Versions of obot prior to v0.21.1 have a significant vulnerability on the /mcp-connect endpoint, lacking proper enforcement of Access Control Rules. This flaw enables any authenticated user, possessing the relevant server ID, to connect to and manipulate restricted MCP servers without undergoing necessary authorization checks. Exploitation of this vulnerability allows malicious actors to perform unauthorized MCP tool operations, potentially compromising sensitive backend systems by using stored OAuth credentials.
