What is CVE-2026-101897?

The Angular platform, used for building web applications, has a vulnerability in the DevTools background service worker that accepts runtime messages from untrusted sources. This flaw can enable an attacker with a valid victim tabId to use the Chrome debugger to manipulate another browser tab, including pausing JavaScript execution and display debugging interactions. It does not allow for remote code execution or access to sensitive data, making it critical for developers to upgrade to version 1.21.1 or later to mitigate this risk.
