What is CVE-2026-101949?

A NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks' Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved affects BGP operations. An unauthenticated remote BGP neighbor can exploit this weakness by sending a VPN-flowspec BGP update, which, if readvertised and monitored with BMP post-policy RIB-out, can result in a denial of service. This vulnerability poses significant risks to network stability, particularly in environments relying on BGP for routing configurations.
