What is CVE-2026-102179?

This vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks' Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved enables an attacker, who has access to a configured BGP EVPN peer, to exploit the system by causing a denial of service during BGP EVPN route processing when the l2vpn-evpn RIB telemetry sensor is active. Successful exploitation can lead to the crashing of the rpd, which interrupts active routing protocols until the daemon restarts and stabilizes, resulting in network disruptions.
