What is CVE-2026-102427?

The OrdaSoft Joomla CCK extension prior to version 8.3.16 is susceptible to unauthenticated remote code execution due to inadequate handling of file uploads. The vulnerability allows attackers to upload malicious files disguised as images, which can then be executed on the server. This occurs because the extension lacks proper authentication and fails to validate the uploaded file's extension, instead allowing potentially harmful PHP scripts to be executed from paths under the Joomla web root. Implementing updates is essential to mitigate this risk and protect your site.

Affected Version(s)

OrdaSoft Joomla CCK 1.0.0-8.3.15

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
