What is CVE-2026-102823?

The Russh SSH client and server library prior to version 0.63.1 contains a flaw in the client_read_authenticated function. This flaw permits a rogue SSH server to relay lifecycle events for channel identifiers that are not verified, which can lead to application errors such as panics or erroneous command execution. This can ultimately disrupt normal operations and compromise exit code tracking. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.63.1 to mitigate these risks.
