What is CVE-2026-102981?

The Plane project management tool, prior to version 1.4.0, allows unauthenticated GET requests to specific API endpoints. This flaw enables an external attacker to access secret invitation tokens intended for legitimate users through the WorkspaceJoinEndpoint. With these tokens, attackers can join the workspace directly, bypassing the invitation process entirely and acquiring roles they were not meant to have. This vulnerability has been addressed in version 1.4.0 of Plane, which implements additional security measures to prevent unauthorized access.
