What is CVE-2026-103279?

Ghost versions prior to 6.34.0 do not adequately invalidate all user sessions upon a password change. As a result, an attacker with access to a compromised session cookie can retain unauthorized access to user accounts, undermining the effectiveness of password security measures. This flaw poses a significant risk for users who may believe that changing their password adequately secures their account, only to discover that their sessions have not been properly terminated.

Affected Version(s)

Ghost 3.10.0 < 6.34.0
