What is CVE-2026-103475?

The Yii2 Starter Kit, up to version 4.2.0, suffers from a misconfiguration that exposes the Yii debug and Gii modules to all IP addresses. This occurs because the 'allowedIPs' setting is set to ['*'] in the default development configuration, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to access sensitive endpoints. Attackers can exploit this exposure to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information such as session cookies and database queries, or leverage the Gii module to generate and overwrite PHP files within the application directory.
