What is CVE-2026-103679?

A flaw has been identified in the Transport Neutral Encapsulation Format (TNEF), where a remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a specially designed TNEF file that includes multiple message bodies. This situation leads to improper memory management during the extraction process, resulting in a use-after-free and double-free condition. Consequently, this flaw can cause the associated application to crash, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS), hindering normal operations and affecting system availability.
