What is CVE-2026-103884?

A security flaw exists in the X.509 client certificate authenticator of Keycloak, specifically when checking the CRL Distribution Point. The vulnerability occurs due to improper validation of file paths in client certificates. An attacker can exploit this by submitting a carefully crafted certificate, prompting the server to read sensitive files from the local system. This can lead to information disclosure or could exhaust server memory by attempting to load excessively large files, which potentially results in server crashes.
