What is CVE-2026-104102?

Copyparty, a portable file server, experienced a vulnerability prior to version 1.20.19 that allowed low-privileged authenticated users to manipulate FTP upload paths. This weakness permitted users to create new files outside of designated copyparty volumes when FTP or FTPS was enabled. While the attacker cannot read or overwrite existing files, the capability to generate files in unintended locations exposes risks, especially if other applications on the same host process these files. Version 1.20.19 addresses this issue, restricting upload destinations to configured volumes.
