Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in MISP by The MISP Project
CVE-2026-104907
4.8MEDIUM
What is CVE-2026-104907?
MISP is affected by a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that arises when remote linked MISP servers provide malicious tag identifiers. This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of authenticated user sessions. When users interact with event previews containing these crafted tag IDs, they become vulnerable to various attacks, including session hijacking and unauthorized actions in their browser. The issue exists due to insufficient sanitization of tag identifiers used in JavaScript contexts. To protect against this, update to MISP version 2.5.48 or later.
