The Plane project management tool prior to version 1.4.0 has an authorization flaw within its WorkspaceOwnerPermission logic. Specifically, it fails to adequately verify if a user is active when determining workspace ownership. This oversight enables deactivated users to maintain owner-level permissions, potentially compromising workspace security and access controls. The issue was resolved in version 1.4.0, which mandates that users must be active to retain workspace ownership privileges.
