What is CVE-2026-105782?

A vulnerability in the Scrapy framework allows attackers to exploit the Referrer-Policy response-header value. If a malicious website uses a value resembling a Python import path, Scrapy's RefererMiddleware could interpret it as a referrer policy class and execute the referenced object. This could lead to unwanted behavior, such as terminating a crawler's process. The vulnerability has been addressed in Scrapy version 2.14.2.

Affected Version(s)
