What is CVE-2026-106138?

Progress KendoReact Charts versions 1.1.0 to 16.2.0 are vulnerable due to the default tooltip rendering which outputs formatted point values as raw HTML without proper encoding. This flaw allows an attacker with low privileges to inject malicious HTML containing event handlers that can execute JavaScript in a user's browser upon hovering over the affected data point. Such exploitation may lead to unauthorized access to confidential data and compromise the integrity of the application.
