What is CVE-2026-106443?

WeasyPrint, a tool for generating PDF documents, contains a vulnerability in its image loading process. In versions before 70.0, the tool allows image bytes from various HTML and CSS sources to be processed without adequate restrictions, exposing systems with Ghostscript installed to remote code execution risks. Specifically, the issue arises when the Pillow EpsImagePlugin executes attacker-controlled PostScript, potentially leading to unauthorized actions within the interpreter due to flawed sandbox protections. This vulnerability has been addressed and resolved in version 70.0.
