What is CVE-2026-107168?

The m17n-lib software contains a vulnerability that can be exploited by attackers through crafted input featuring invalid UTF-8 character sequences. When fed such input, the text parsing function may enter an infinite loop, significantly increasing CPU utilization. This behavior leads to a Denial of Service, making the affected application unavailable for legitimate users.
