Heap Out-of-Bounds Read in Dislocker Affecting BitLocker Volume Images
CVE-2026-107634
6.9MEDIUM
What is CVE-2026-107634?
Dislocker version 0.7.3 is exposed to a vulnerability that allows attackers to exploit heap out-of-bounds reads in the functions get_dataset() and get_next_datum(). This occurs due to inadequate validation of dataset and datum sizes against the metadata allocation. Attackers can craft a malicious BitLocker volume image with misleading dataset or datum sizes, resulting in crashes of the Dislocker application or potentially revealing adjacent heap memory contents.
Affected Version(s)
dislocker 0 <= 0.7.3
