What is CVE-2026-108162?

Pingvin Share X prior to version 1.22.0 is susceptible to a rate limit bypass vulnerability due to untrusted handling of proxy headers. This allows unauthenticated remote attackers to exploit the system by manipulating the X-Forwarded-For header. Attackers can perform brute-force attempts on /api/auth/signIn, /api/auth/signIn/totp, and /api/auth/resetPassword, potentially compromising user accounts and bypassing security measures designed to limit access based on IP address.
