What is CVE-2026-108737?

Traccar versions up to 6.16.0 are vulnerable to a weak password recovery flaw that allows attackers to exploit password reset tokens. The TokenManager does not bind these tokens to a specific purpose, enabling attackers to reuse leaked reset links to obtain active session credentials through the /api/session endpoint. This vulnerability permits unauthorized access for up to seven days, even after the victim has reset their password, by allowing changes to passwords via the /api/password/update endpoint. Proper measures should be implemented to secure token usage and mitigate this risk.

Affected Version(s)

Traccar 0 <= 6.16.0
