What is CVE-2026-109185?

jshERP versions prior to 3.6 exhibit a flaw in the UserController's updateUser handler where authenticated users can exploit the absence of proper authorization checks. This vulnerability enables them to assign arbitrary roles to any user by submitting their own user ID along with a tenant administrator role ID. Consequently, low-privilege attackers can escalate their own permissions or manipulate the roles of other tenant users, posing significant security risks. Organizations using jshERP should take immediate steps to assess their exposure and apply necessary patches.

Affected Version(s)

jshERP 0 <= 3.6
