What is CVE-2026-109186?

jshERP versions up to 3.6 contain a mass assignment vulnerability in the UserController's update handler. This flaw allows authenticated users to manipulate protected fields such as tenant_id and password. By crafting a specific PUT request to /user/update, attackers can potentially assume control of another user's tenant or overwrite password hashes, creating a pathway for unauthorized access and account takeovers. Proper validation and protection mechanisms should be implemented to mitigate this risk and safeguard user data.

Affected Version(s)

jshERP 0 <= 3.6

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
