What is CVE-2026-109308?

Craft CMS versions 4.0.0 before 4.18.7 and 5.0.0 before 5.10.14 are susceptible to a vulnerability that allows authenticated users to leverage the 'updates' request parameter. Due to the lack of input cleansing in AppController::actionCacheUpdates, attackers with appropriate permissions can exploit this weakness to inject malicious behaviors or event handlers, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution.
