What is CVE-2026-109356?

LibreNMS, a popular open-source network monitoring tool, before version 26.9.0, suffers from a missing authorization issue in the PortsController::purge function. This vulnerability allows users with global-read access to execute DELETE requests on the /ports/purge endpoint, using the purge=all parameter to delete ports without having the necessary permissions. Consequently, attackers with read-only privileges can irreversibly clear all deleted ports across all accessible devices, posing a significant risk to data integrity and network management.
