What is CVE-2026-109442?

The piflow software, versions 2.0.0 and 2.0.1, features a significant remote code execution vulnerability within its DeepAgents chat agent. The endpoints for POST /chat and POST /chat/stream do not require authentication, allowing potential attackers to exploit this lack of security. They can instruct the chat agent to execute the exec_shell tool, which runs arbitrary commands without any user intervention or confirmatory checks. This flaw may expose sensitive environment variables, including LLM API keys and database credentials, putting users at risk.

Affected Version(s)

piflow 2.0.0 <= 2.0.1

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
