What is CVE-2026-109572?

Open WebUI versions prior to 0.11.4 contain a privilege escalation flaw in the terminal proxy functionality. This vulnerability allows authenticated users to access the Terminals administrator API using a shared key, enabling them to execute requests that can compromise the terminal environments of other users. Malicious actors may leverage this weakness to manipulate terminal policies, stop user terminals or list existing active sessions by sending crafted requests to the API endpoint. This situation underscores the need for prompt updates and vigilant monitoring to safeguard user data and system integrity.
