What is CVE-2026-109964?

An exploit exists in the ImageMagick product prior to version 7.1.2-33 and 6.9.13-58 that allows attackers to manipulate a crafted PICT file. By performing pointer arithmetic, a crafted PICT can bypass bounds checks, allowing a buffer underwrite condition. This may lead to unauthorized data manipulation, application crashes, or remote code execution due to the ability to write up to 128 bytes of controlled data below the heap buffer. ImageMagick users are advised to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate this vulnerability.

Affected Version(s)
