What is CVE-2026-110206?

Roo Code versions prior to 3.54.0 suffer from a command approval bypass vulnerability in the parseCommandLine() function. This flaw enables attackers to auto-approve arbitrary shell commands by using command substitution in the command position. Through indirect prompt injection techniques, an attacker can craft commands like $(echo touch /tmp/x) that evade the echo allowlist check, leading to the execution of these commands by the shell without any explicit user approval. This presents a significant security risk, allowing malicious users to execute unintended commands within the system.
