What is CVE-2026-110633?

The MyReport Updater up to version 2.1.1 is susceptible to a local privilege escalation vulnerability that potentially allows low-privileged users to exploit the SYSTEM updater service. This vulnerability can be exploited via the UpdaterManager.exe tool over gRPC, enabling an attacker to specify a malicious reference server and install location. Consequently, adversaries can plant DLLs, such as HID.dll, which are then loaded by legitimate processes like osk.exe, granting the attacker elevated SYSTEM privileges without authorization.

Affected Version(s)

MyReport Updater 0 <= 2.1.1

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
