What is CVE-2026-110718?

The TurboDocx html-to-docx tool, up to version 1.23.1, contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that can be exploited by attackers. By supplying crafted HTML with specific img src attributes, malicious users can trick the server into fetching internal URLs. This includes potential access to loopback addresses, private networks, or cloud metadata services. The vulnerability occurs due to the inadequate validation of URLs using the isValidUrl() function, allowing unauthorized access to responses that become part of the generated DOCX files. Users and admins are advised to assess their usage of this library and implement necessary security measures.

Affected Version(s)

html-to-docx 0 <= 1.23.1

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
