Memory Exhaustion Vulnerability in FreeRDP Software by FreeRDP
CVE-2026-110832
7.1HIGH
What is CVE-2026-110832?
FreeRDP versions prior to 3.32.0 are affected by a memory exhaustion vulnerability due to improper handling of large memory allocations in the wts_read_drdynvc_data_first function. Authenticated attackers can exploit this issue by sending a manipulated seven-byte DATA_FIRST message, which specifies a large 32-bit length. This can result in the accumulation of zeroed resident memory, leading to significant resource exhaustion on the server, potentially affecting its availability and performance.
