Unbounded Memory Retention in FreeRDP by FreeRDP
CVE-2026-110833
8.2HIGH
What is CVE-2026-110833?
FreeRDP, prior to version 3.32.0, is susceptible to an unbounded memory retention vulnerability within its RDPDR channel implementation. This issue allows attackers to send a fragment that does not properly signal the end of a message, leading to unmanaged allocation of memory. As a result, per-session heap streams can grow unchecked, potentially consuming all available memory resources on the proxy. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as it could lead to denial of service conditions by exhausting proxy memory and impairing service availability.
