OpenSSH GSSAPI Authentication Flaw Exposes Unauthorized Access Risks
CVE-2026-110924
4.8MEDIUM
What is CVE-2026-110924?
A security flaw within OpenSSH occurs when GSSAPI authentication is enabled. If an initial GSSAPI authentication attempt fails, the credentials delegated for that connection can remain active despite the lack of proper user authorization. This leaves an opportunity for a subsequent successful login to exploit the lingering credentials, thereby bypassing necessary authorization checks and potentially compromising system security.
