What is CVE-2026-111045?

The CLI Bridge allows filesystem access within a specified workspace root. A flaw exists in versions prior to 0.0.2 where a dangling symlink pointing outside the workspace root can bypass the resolveSafePath feature. When the fs.realpathSync function encounters an ENOENT error due to a nonexistent target, the fallback mechanism resolves only the parent directory and erroneously marks the symlink path as safe. This oversight could permit arbitrary file writes outside the intended workspace, posing significant security risks. The issue was addressed and resolved in version 0.0.2.
