What is CVE-2026-111165?

libmikmod, an audio player library, has a vulnerability in the MultiTracker loader function MTM_Load(). This issue arises when the channel count in a crafted .mtm file exceeds 32, leading to an out-of-bounds read beyond the static pat array. As a result, this can corrupt track indices, potentially crashing the application that attempts to load the modified file.
