What is CVE-2026-111373?

FreeRDP versions before 3.32.0 have a vulnerability in the WebSocket transport mechanism that allows an attacker to exploit a NULL pointer dereference by sending a zero-length ping. This specific input causes the function websocket_reply_pong to pass a null stream pointer to websocket_reply_close, leading to an assertion failure. As a result, client processes may crash, resulting in denial of service and disrupting normal user operations.
