FreeRDP versions from 3.0.0 to 3.32.0 are susceptible to an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability found in the parse_nla_mode_pdu function. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to induce excessive memory usage on the server by sending specially crafted TLS requests. The vulnerability can lead to unbounded growth of receive buffers, which can eventually exhaust server memory. This presents significant risks for services utilizing FreeRDP, as it may lead to degraded performance or service outages.
