What is CVE-2026-111617?

In WHartTest up to version 2.8.1, a vulnerability exists due to missing authentication, allowing unauthenticated attackers to connect to the WebSocket endpoints /ws/ui/web/ and /ws/ui/actuator/. The vulnerability arises because the UiAutomationConsumer class fails to validate connections, enabling attackers to register an actuator using any client-supplied id. This exploit allows the interception of test-case payloads from other users, retrieval of broadcast step results, and the manipulation or spoofing of results and screen frames within victim sessions.

Affected Version(s)

WHartTest 0 <= 2.8.1
