What is CVE-2026-111732?

The P-Net software, prior to version 1.0.3, contains a vulnerability that arises when it is built with the PNET_OPTION_AR_VENDOR_BLOCKS option enabled. Under certain circumstances, it inadequately parses a data length from an ARVendorBlock request. This improper handling allows for the possibility of writing beyond the allocated buffer space, triggered by a specially crafted Connect request. As a result, this can lead to significant issues such as a denial of service or even the potential for arbitrary code execution, making it crucial for users to assess their current P-Net versions and apply the latest updates.

Affected Version(s)
