What is CVE-2026-111898?

A vulnerability in phpMyFAQ prior to version 4.2.0-beta allows an attacker with a Keycloak identity to bypass authentication. By exploiting a match in the preferred_username or email between their Keycloak account and local accounts, an attacker can gain unauthorized access. This results in the potential for superadmin privileges via the /auth/keycloak/authorize endpoint, making it crucial for users to update to secure versions immediately.
