What is CVE-2026-111909?

In phpMyFAQ versions before 4.1.9, a missing authorization vulnerability exists within the deleteUser() API that permits authenticated users, who have delete_user permissions but are not superadmins, to delete superadmin accounts. This vulnerability allows these users to send a DELETE request to the API endpoint /admin/api/user/delete, targeting a superadmin's user ID other than 1, effectively stripping the superadmin of their administrative rights and compromising accountability within the application.
